It’s a question that has been on my mind, and perhaps love is a too strong word. But after days of musing on it, I found the answer. The reason we love AI is because AI will never be able to love us back!
Strange isn’t it?Â
Now please do not misunderstand me, We Offer Wellness uses AI and we are also in the early stages of developing some AI that could help so many people from a specific demographic access wellness, and this is for us amazing, and bravo AI because what we are building couldn’t happen without you.
As a company we accepted early on that we’d need to work with AI if we were going to survive and grow, and we want to do this, because there is so much that we want to do to take wellness forward into such an unknown future.Â
So as a company we have our views and thoughts, and as an individual I have mine. Each day is an opportunity to try and understand AI’s place in the world and how it can benefit humanity and help us solve the problems that are needing to be solved.
What concerns me is that I do see lazy thinking and I see people surrendering to AI like it’s their only option-it’s not. I wonder what it’ll be like in say 20 or 40 years from now where this planet will be populated with people who have given up thinking for themselves and have stopped using their naturalness to imagine and to create amazing things that come from places deep inside, because it became normal to let AI shoulder such a heavy burden for them.Â
But for me, and it’s clear. AI will never experience love, or human warmth. AI will never be awed at a sunset or look up at the stars and go wow. AI will never know what it’s like to dream and to feel much more that humans can do, simply because we are the greatest machines ever designed-we just haven’t figured out how to use the machine yet.Â
So, love AI we will because inside we know it’ll never be able to love back, and because of this we know where we stand. The future still belongs to humans, phew!

P.S And you’ll never convince me AI will ever have a soul or spirit
