I grew up in Maidstone during the late 80s when rave music burst onto the scene. From that point on I’ve had a lifetime love of dance music.
Over the years my taste has mellowed from those heady days of acid house, techno and trance. Artists like Jose Padilla, Andrew Wetherall, Dimitri from Paris, Simon Dunmore and Tom Middleton inspired my penchant for a groove and more chilled, soulful vibes.
I've been DJing for ten years. I started out playing disco and funky house in clubs and then got invited to DJ at Valerie’s Wine Bar in Ashford. I became resident there and honed my craft, playing uniquely curated ‘dine to dance’ sets journeying from delicious, real Ibiza chillout, lo-fi and soul through to deep house, disco and funky house as the night moved on. I now DJ at several upmarket bars, restaurants, clubs and festivals across Kent and run my own events.
And what to expect in my set at the festival, probably a cinematic, orchestral, dream-laden start leading into sun-kissed, real Ibiza chill with gorgeously smooth baselines, soulful, sensual vocals, silky Spanish guitars, laid-back beats and bongos.
