Shamanism
A forgotten way, and a forgotten language.
In this workshop there will be a very brief introduction into what Shamanism is, not only in terms of origins, and a deep practice, but also of what it can offer as a certain type of 'energy medicine'.
Tools
Shamanic practitioners (or medicine men/women) work with certain 'tools' that have been honed by the craft for millennia. Specifically there is the Drum and the Rattle among other implements like bells, shakers, singing bowls & feathers.
These tools help to move, shift, harmonize and stabilize certain energies within and around the human energy field.
Journey
After the brief introduction to Shamanism the drum will be played so that participants can get a feel for this ancient practice. We will all 'journey' together by lying down in comfortable spaces, while the drum is played at a certain rhythmic beat. We will receive a gift in the form of 'Power Animals'. Big or small, tame or wild.... all will be met exactly where their pysche and energy field needs it the most.
