The idea for Energy Worlds began in 2008 and the reason that came to me was because what I saw was a shift going on in the world, and that was an energetic shift, and if people could have a greater understanding about the dynamics and different levels of these energies then this could make a substantial difference in human consciousness.
I was looking for what might work as a suitable access point and how this related to esoteric work, and how could something like Energy Worlds actually make a difference to people’s lives, including my life too.
There’s the energy that comes out of the socket in the wall, and this is the electricity that we use on a daily basis-like switching the lights on and off. This itself is a universal power. It’s not that we make electricity, it’s just that companies manufacture it from the planet, and then push it down a wire and charge us for it. Electricity is already naturally there.
So, there is that kind of energy that we can use in a very material way to run vehicles and appliances on. But then there are what these days are called subtle energies. These are the energies coming from the universe direct to the human. It was this that I wanted to get to with Energy Worlds.
This was the energy relating what can be experienced with such practices as Tai Chi, Qigong and energy healing. Now these things were known about decades ago. However, if asked someone say back in the 1970s, when I first started to get interested in these things, I’m studying energies found in Qigong, they would look at you strangely. But these days more people feel these subtle energies.
When considering energy what also interested me was studying the whole spectrum. What I saw in many peoples endeavour and desires was the want to float up into the higher energy realms but what was missing was an appreciation and understanding that there are energies at all levels. There are energies at a football match or in any crowds. There’s an energy dynamic to anything that a human does. And humans have an amazing ability to be able to shift energies. It’s something that separates humans from the rest of organic life.
Humans actually have that ability to change from one energetic process to another, and this relates very much to the idea of personal development. The human is always with an energetic connection-the question is what is the nature of that connection?
There are over 8 billion people on the planet now and they are all developing-but developing into what? And what differences would it make if people understood the energy of say jealousy or love at a level far deeper than just words. You can ask someone to bring you a bucket of water but when you ask them to bring you a bucket of hope they will look at you oddly and say its not possible.
Humans will accept such things like love and care as being emotional states, but they won’t always accept them as being energetic states.
I’m currently living in Florida but was born in the Midlands of Great Britain. I went to school in Coventry and to Oxford where I studies English. When I was eighteen years old, I travelled to Mexico and visited the Mayan temples and pyramids. Whilst studying at Oxford it occurred to me that the place was about the past and not about the future, and I wrote something to a friend saying this, to which he replied telling me about an esoteric school he’d been going to meetings at in London.
This interested me and I found myself hitch hiking back from Oxford to London so that I could go to these meetings about the laws of the universe and the purpose of human life. I moved to London in June 1977 and continued to attend these meetings. In 1988 my wife and I moved to Toronto, Canada, where we set up a school for this esoteric work known as The New Template Center. In 2004 we moved to New York and then in 2005 we went to Tennessee to help found an intentional community known as The Template Homestead. In 2010 we moved back to New York and then in 2016 we moved our residence to Florida where we are now.
As a teenager I had got interested in things like astral travel and the idea that it was possible to leave the body and travel in different forms. I had a book by Dennis Wheatley called Strange Conflict and it talked about the English and German having astral conflict. And then my trip to Mayan Temples had great meaning too, and I had a special experience sitting in the ruins of Tulum. There was an arch, and it had an image of something coming down from the heavens. What came over was a sense of how different the world had once been, and this seemed to trigger something in me.
I was tempted to stay in Tulum but I decided not to and so went back to Oxford and finished what I had started but knowing there was something more to do, and it was that which had led to me writing that note to my friend and then starting those hitch hiking trips to London, and going to those meetings which to me felt like the future, and I realised this was the real work I wanted to be doing.
And this all related to energetics. My electrical vision started to turn on, and I could see energy coming from my hands. And all this had led to what I have been doing these past years with Energy Worlds.
Energy Worlds is a group of what we term practitioners who work under the name the Integrative Energetics Network. We meet every Sunday night for what we call a Pathfinding meeting. We are currently into a topic called Changing Energies, Changing Times. This relates to exploring the new energies coming into the planet like the gamma rays that started back in July and other solar injections.
The group has much to do with learning about how to work with the changing energies, inside and outside of us and how this relates to human development for these times. So, we look at energetic states, emotional states, physical states. These take place via Zoom and run for 90 minutes.
Alongside the group work I also do client work. This is where I meet with individuals. This is where I might help people with their relationships. I wrote a book called Partners in Passion which is about the energies present in relationships. I wrote another book called Go with the Glow which is about the energies of individual development.
The symbol for Energy Worlds is the Aquarius symbol with the idea that there is a big change coming. We talk about Jesus the Christ and how their symbol at the times of Jesus being alive was the fish and not the cross. It was the fish because it was about the beginning of the age of Pisces. It was different 2000 years ago. Nowadays it’s a time of networks which relates to Aquarius, and we can see how this has turned up in modern day technology with email and so on. There’s an idea that in the time of Pisces you’d be baptised by water but in the age if Aquarius it is baptism by fire. The fire meaning energetics not physical fire.
