If you were gifted a second chance at life, how would you live it? Imagine if such a gift was even possible. Perhaps it is, perhaps you, the reader has already experienced it. If so what is your life like now? Is it an improved life? But for those of us who cannot say we’ve been gifted a second chance at life let us consider it, together, now. Let’s say you go to bed on a Sunday night and you get the best nights sleep you’ve had, since, well, as far back as you can remember.Â
You awake on Monday morning and something feels different. Something feels new. You are aware that you have a renewed energy and it almost propels you out of your bed. You rush to the window and draw open the curtains with vigour, and you look outside. The blue sky, the trees, somehow look different and more defined, the birds song seemed sweeter, clearer. You open the window and the air feels cleaner. You feel cleaner. As the day rolls on, everything you see, feel and come into contact with has something different about it. It’s as if something else is looking out of your eyes and has taken over your senses.
Everything has become more magical, more natural, more real. As you’ve gone from one activity to the next, leaping from one conversation to the next, it’s as if something new talks out from you, and even you’re interested in what you find yourself saying. And it goes on and on, the next day too, then the next, and then you realise that everything about your life has become less familiar and it’s as if you’ve been invited into a new world, and new life. The question is what are you going to do with this gifting?
