Who we are
Mindful Times by We Offer Wellness™ ("we", "us", "our") provides a Flash Briefing for Alexa-enabled devices that reads concise wellness headlines. For this skill, the data controller is We Offer Wellness Ltd, 48 Salisbury Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 2TX, United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected].
What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal information is processed when you use our Alexa Flash Briefing, and your rights.
1) What data we collect
- We do not collect personal data from you via the Alexa skill.
- The skill delivers text headlines to Amazon, and Alexa reads them aloud. We do not receive your name, email, address, voice recordings, or device identifiers from the skill.
- Server/operational logs (non-identifying): our website/CDN may log standard technical data when Alexa fetches the feed (e.g., IP address, user-agent, request time). We use this for reliability and security only.
2) Data processed by Amazon
Your voice interactions, device settings, and account information are processed by Amazon, not by us. See Amazon’s Privacy Notice and Alexa & Alexa Device Privacy pages for details.
3) Purpose and legal basis
- Provide the service: deliver up-to-date Flash Briefing content to your device.
- Security & availability: protect the service, detect abuse, and ensure uptime.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (to operate and secure the service).
4) Sharing & international transfers
We do not sell your data. We may use reputable infrastructure providers (e.g., CDN/hosting) to deliver the feed. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) provided by those vendors.
5) Retention
Technical logs are kept only as long as necessary for security, troubleshooting, and auditing, then deleted or anonymised.
6) Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. As we do not collect personal data via the skill, requests usually concern website/CDN logs. Contact [email protected] and we’ll help.
7) Children
The skill is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us via our website, contact us.
8) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the skill or law. We’ll post the new date at the top and, where appropriate, notify users on our site.
