As a human living in these times, ask yourself what can you contribute to humanity? It is understood, evidenced and accepted that each one of us is unique. A one-off. An individual. There is absolutely no one else that has or ever has had your fingerprints. And to blow that up even bigger, there never will be. It’s truly awesome isn’t it?

Could it be therefore that something, that something that created us, designed us with such detail wanted us to be of use, of service, to contribute to the naturalness of where we find ourselves living, planet earth, and in a tribe, humans? If we can at least agree to this, see it to be true it does nudge us to ask questions. Such questions can assist us to understand our roles, our functions, our part in all this living a life business. And one question you can ask, if only to yourself, in fact, do ask it to yourself As a human living in these times, what can you contribute to humanity? We’d all answer this according to how well we know ourselves, that wonderful ‘Nosce te Ipsum’ which translates to Know Thyself.

But as with most things, small steps are best. So maybe start by asking yourself what is one of your strongest qualities. Is it kindness? Might it be generosity? Perhaps it’s care, or patience or humility. What is it? What do you have to contribute to humanity? List those qualities out. We bet there are loads. We suspect there are many that even you do not see in yourself but that other’s do in you. Seek them out, list them, and where you find yourself lacking take note and maybe do some self-development work to bring or activate those qualities in you.

And by doing so you will see what you do and can contribute to humanity. And the more of us that can do this, just maybe we can collectively contribute something that will bring about real changes that help humanity on its journey. Care to try it?
